The Lords Prayer

Our Heavenly Father, almighty and everlasting God, who dwells in the highest heavens, yet abides with the humble and contrite, hallowed be your holy name. May your name be sanctified, revered, and glorified throughout the earth. May all peoples and nations come to know you as the one true God, the creator and sustainer of the universe.

Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. May your sovereign reign be established in every heart and every land. May your perfect will be accomplished in our lives, our families, our communities, and our world, just as it is perfectly obeyed in the heavenly realms. May we submit ourselves fully to your divine authority and purposes.

Give us this day our daily bread. Provide for our daily needs, both physical and spiritual sustenance. Grant us the nourishment required to live each day for your glory. Help us to trust you as our provider and to be content with what you have apportioned for us.

And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Pardon our sins and trespasses, as we humbly seek your mercy and forgiveness. Cleanse us from all unrighteousness and enable us to forgive those who have sinned against us, just as you have graciously forgiven us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Guide our steps away from the snares of the evil one and the enticements of our own sinful desires. Protect us from the schemes of the devil and the corruption of this fallen world. Strengthen us to resist temptation and to stand firm in the power of your might.

For yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever and ever. All authority, dominion, and majesty belong to you, our sovereign Lord. Yours is the everlasting kingdom, the infinite power, and the eternal glory. May all praise, honor, and worship be ascribed to you alone, both now and forevermore. Amen.
