Sleep Prayer

Heavenly Father, I come before you in the mighty name of your son Jesus Christ. I thank you for the gift of sleep and for the rest and renewal it brings. However, I have been struggling with difficult nights and lack of peaceful sleep.

If there are any spiritual forces or influences seeking to disturb my rest and deprive me of the sleep I need, I rebuke them in Jesus' name. I cover myself with the powerful blood of Christ and His truth. No weapon formed against me shall prosper.

Lord, I ask that you would guard my mind and body during the night hours. Keep all fear, anxiety, and tormenting thoughts far from me. Let your peace which surpasses understanding reign over my spirit, soul, body and sleep.

Replace any lies or oppression of the enemy with your comforting presence and promises. Grant me sweet, restorative sleep, free from any demonic harassment or spiritual attacks. May my sleep be pleasant and my nights undisturbed.

Thank you for your protecting angels encamped around me. I trust in your power to give me victory over any forces of darkness seeking to rob my sleep and strength. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
