Mute Mode Rules

Mute Mode is a special interactive feature that is ONLY active when Mute Mode is ON.

💸 How Mute Mode Works

During Mute Mode, viewers may Super Chat or donate via the pinned link to:

Mute panelists for $1 per minute.
Mute users in the live chat.
Muting is not available when Mute Mode is OFF.

⏱ Panelist Muting Rules

When a panelist is muted, a timer begins immediately.

If a panelist leaves the panel early, their mute timer continues to count down. The mute applies to the person, not just their presence. You paid for silence, whether they’re there or not.

🏆 Bounty System

At any time, viewers may Super Chat or donate to place a Bounty on any panelist, even if they are not currently on the panel.

A Bounty is prepaid mute time that will be automatically enforced the next time the panelist joins the panel AND Mute Mode is ON.

Once triggered, the bounty:

Immediately starts the mute timer.
Functions exactly like a normal mute.

⚠ Important Clarifications

Placing a bounty does not require the panelist to be present. Bounties do not expire unless cleared by bailouts or buffers. If Mute Mode is OFF when a panelist joins, the bounty remains stored until Mute Mode is activated.

MUTE MODE OFF

If Mute Mode is turned OFF while a mute timer is still running:

The remaining time is converted into a Bounty.
The bounty is stored on that panelist.

The next time that panelist is on the panel AND Mute Mode is ON, the bounty is automatically collected and their mute timer begins for the stored duration.

🚑 Bailouts

If a panelist is muted, viewers may Super Chat to bail them out.

Bailouts:

Remove minutes from the active mute timer, partially or fully clearing the mute time.

🛡 Buffers (Protection)

Viewers may Super Chat a Buffer for a panelist.

A Buffer:

Acts as prepaid protection.
Prevents or reduces future mute time.
Is applied before any new mute minutes.

📢 Chat Muting

During Mute Mode, viewers may also:

Mute users in the live chat.
Chat mutes follow the same Mute Mode restrictions and pricing.
