The Phantom Stream Armory: Every Feature and How to Use It

9 min read Updated 3 November 2026 By The Christian King

On our live streams, chat can do more than talk. With the Armory, a superchat can mute someone on the panel, protect a panelist with armor, or put a bounty on someone before they even join. You can win rarer items on the Spin the Wheel and Hangman games, like bunkers, nukes and reflect shields, and use them right from chat.

Everything happens automatically. You superchat, you write what you want, and the stream shows what happened a moment later.

What your superchat buys

Only four things can be bought. Each one is priced the same: $1 for 1 minute.

ItemPriceWhat it does
Mute$1 per minuteMutes someone on the panel
Armor$1 per minuteProtection you hold. It protects you, and you can give it away or apply it to someone as Buffs
Buffs$1 per minuteArmor applied to someone. It protects them first, and it can't be given away
Bounty$1 per minuteA mute paid in advance, waiting for that person

Mutes and bounties come with a bundle deal: every full $100 buys 12 hours. Anything over that is $1 a minute again.

Only whole dollars count, so $5.61 buys 5 minutes. Anything under $1 isn't enough on its own.

Items you can only win

These can't be bought. They come from prizes on the Spring the Wheel, or from games.

ItemWhat it does
BunkerBlocks every mute completely while it lasts. Only nukes can remove it
NukeDestroys bunker first, then armor, one for one
Group muteMutes a whole team at once
Convert ArmamentsTurns one kind of item into another, one for one
Reflect shieldBounces a mute back at whoever sent it

Ways to pay

All amounts are worked out in US dollars.

Writing your superchat

Start your message with what you want, then the name. The ! is optional.

You writeWhat happens
mute MikeMike is muted, 1 minute for every $1
armor MikeMike gets 1 minute of armor to hold for every $1
armorYou get the armor yourself
buff MikeMike gets 1 minute of Buffs for every $1, protecting him right away
buffYou get the Buffs yourself
bounty MikeA mute waits for Mike, and lands when he's on the panel

Names are forgiving. Capitals, spaces and the @ don't matter, so Big Mike TV, @bigmiketv and big mike tv all mean the same person. Use the name shown on the panel, or the name they chat with.

If you send armor or Buffs to a name nobody has, they go to you instead.

Using what you hold

Items you've won or been given are yours to use whenever you like, from any chat, for free. These commands need the !.

CommandWhat it does
!mute @Mike 10Uses 10 of your mute minutes on Mike
!buff 50Applies 50 of your armor to yourself as Buffs
!buff @Mike 50Applies 50 of your armor to Mike as his Buffs
!nuke @Mike 200Fires 200 nukes at Mike's bunker, Buffs and armor
!group teamx 10Mutes everyone in team "teamx" for 10 minutes
!give @Mike 10 mutesGives Mike 10 of your mutes
!convert 10 armor to mutesTurns 10 armor into 10 mutes
!convert all armor to mutesTurns all your armor into mutes

A few things to know:

Checking what you hold

Type !armory (or !items) in YouTube chat, and the bot answers in chat with you tagged:

You'll also see your new totals in every announcement about you, like "Mike now has 30 armor".

How a mute is decided

Every mute, whether it's paid, from a bounty, or from your own items, goes through the same steps, in this order:

  1. The host is never muted. Guests and co-hosts can be.
  2. Reflect shield. If the target has one, the whole mute bounces back at the sender, and the shield is used up. One shield stops one mute.
  3. Bunker. If the target is in a bunker, the mute doesn't land, but it isn't lost. It waits, and lands the moment the bunker is gone.
  4. Buffs, then armor. Buffs soak up the mute minute for minute, then any armor the target holds soaks up the rest. If the mute is bigger than both, what's left still lands.
  5. The mute. Whatever is left mutes the target. If they're already muted, the new time is added to what's left.

Not on the panel? A mute for someone who isn't there yet waits for them, just like a bounty, and lands when they join.

Mute timers

Every item in detail

Armor and Buffs

Both protect against mutes, minute for minute, but they work differently:

Buy armor with a superchat saying armor Mike, or Buffs that protect right away with buff Mike.

Bounties

A bounty is a mute paid in advance. If the person is on the panel, it fires straight away. If not, it waits and fires the moment they next join. You can even put a bounty on someone who has never been on the stream: the name is remembered and matched when they show up. Their armor, bunker and reflect shield still count when it lands.

Bunkers

A bunker blocks mutes completely. Even a bunker of 1 stops every mute, no matter how big. Mutes sent at someone in a bunker don't disappear. They wait, and all land the moment the bunker reaches zero.

The only way to break a bunker is with nukes. A bunker of 100 takes 100 nukes.

Nukes

A nuke destroys protection, bunker first, then Buffs, then armor, one for one. A nuke never mutes anyone by itself.

As soon as a bunker is gone, any mutes waiting behind it land.

Group mutes

The host sets up groups, such as teams. A group mute is held in minutes. !group teamx 10 spends 10 of your group-mute minutes and mutes every member of teamx for 10 minutes. Each member's own reflect shield, bunker, Buffs and armor still protect them.

Convert Armaments

A Convert Armaments turns one kind of item into another, one for one. It works between mutes, armor, bunkers, nukes and group mutes. Each use of !convert spends one Convert Armaments, however much you convert. Buffs, Convert Armaments and reflect shields can't be converted.

Reflect shields

A reflect shield bounces one whole mute back at the person who sent it, and is then used up. It's checked before anything else, so it works even if you also have Buffs, armor or a bunker. If the sender isn't on the panel, the bounced mute waits for them as a bounty. Reflect shields come from the wheel.

The wheel

When the wheel is running, a YouTube superchat or Super Sticker earns spins: one spin for every $20, so $45 earns 2. Spins from superchats in other currencies are sorted out by the host. A superchat can do both at once. A $20 superchat saying mute Mike mutes Mike for 20 minutes and earns you a spin.

Wheel prizes like "Mute 10", "Armor 30", "Buff 30", "Bunker 5", "Nuke 3", "Group mute 10", "Convert" or "Reflect" go straight into your items, ready to use with the commands above.

Special modes

The host can switch these on at any time. You'll see an announcement on stream when they do.
